However, as others have pointed out, the base mode is probably the best dual SMG in the game. Hi, I absolutely fucking love the sound of the Tenet Diplos but they're extremely annoying to use. To fix them, all you need is to set the lock-on as an alt-fire (or actually make their gimmick good but I don't expect that). There are other weapons that, like the Diplos, are annoying to use because of the way their alt-fire works. It would be better to tie the lock-on function to alt fire, even if it has to be re-enabled manually for every salvo. For anyone who's used the Tenet Diplos before, it isn't hard to see that the lock-on additional effect is just plain bad, and detrimental to the weapon's overall performance.
